Valor Honey Bee Policy

By placing an order with Valor Honey for any bees, including packaged bees, nucleus colonies (nucs), or queens, you agree to the following policies, terms, conditions, and limitations. Valor Honey is committed to providing high-quality bees and ensuring customer satisfaction. However, the production and delivery of bees are subject to factors beyond our control, including weather and supply chain issues. Valor Honey reserves the right to adjust pickup dates or substitute breeds if necessary. We will communicate via email, phone call, or SMS, if shipments are not on schedule or substitutions are required. Substitutions of lower-priced products will include a refund for the price difference.
Ordering Process
Orders for bees can be placed online, over the phone, or in person. All orders are subject to availability. Customers will receive an order confirmation via email or receipt upon placement. Please review the confirmation for accuracy and contact Valor Honey within 48 hours to address any discrepancies.
Payment Terms
All orders should be made through our website.
Your Order Cancellation Rights
Cancellations within 14 days of the pickup date will not be refunded. We can cancel an order only if it is received by Valor Honey prior to that date.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

Bee Order Fulfillment

For 2025 bee orders, we are allowing for pick up or shipping options.

Shipping
-
Shipping location must be within a 150 radius from 1210 Sedam Avenue, United States, Manhattan, Kansas, 66502.

Although we can ship, the bees must still be picked up at your nearest post office. Your nearest post office should be what you input as your shipping address.

We require your name and phone number so that you can be reached as soon as your bees are available for pick up.

Pick up

When we get closer to the first week of April, we will reach out with more information for pick up location and timeframe.

Failure to pick up your bees within a timely manner from the time we reach out to schedule your pick up timeframe may result in forfeiture of the order without refund.

Inspection

It is normal to see some level of dead bees in packaged bees or a small number of losses in nucs or packages due to natural factors. Customers are encouraged to inspect their purchases at the pickup location and report any issues before leaving.

Refunds or Replacements

Issues, such as dead on arrival orders, must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pickup, with photographic evidence and shipment label if applicable.

Refunds or replacements will be provided only for valid claims as determined by Valor Honey.
Liability Waiver
By purchasing bees from Valor Honey, customers acknowledge the inherent risks associated with beekeeping and assume full responsibility for their bees post-pickup. Valor Honey is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the handling or keeping of bees.

For bulk or grocery chain orders to a location arranged between the buying agent and the Valor Honey Operations Manager.
We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail or freight service.
